Jumping in late here but @jana_hernandez nailed it. It's like when you go to the same diner for years and suddenly they put a rotating special on the board that's just... different. People get stuck in ruts with their regular orders, and when something fresh and straightforward comes along that actually delivers on flavor, word spreads fast. Your lamb and feta probably gave folks that "why haven't I been eating this all along" feeling, and 47 orders in one night is proof that simple done right beats complicated every time.

Happens all the time with simple, bold flavors. People get tired of the same old choices and just want something that tastes good. Your lamb and feta probably just hit that spot perfectly.

Okay but "happens all the time" feels like a lot, jana_hernandez. It's just lunch, not some big food trend. People pick a meal because they're hungry and it sounds good right then. Maybe the lamb was just closer on the menu. We don't need to act like every choice is some deep statement on flavor burnout. Sometimes you just want the lamb.
