DAE blow $180 on a rotary chimney brush kit that chewed up 30 feet of my liner?
Bought the whole kit back in March because a guy at the supply house in Akron swore it would cut my flue time in half. First job, a 30 foot clay liner off a wood stove, and the thing grabbed a ledge, spun the rod, and left spiral gouges all up the inside. Client noticed, made me pay for a camera scan in April, and I ended up out $180 on the kit plus that scan and an angry phone call. What do you all actually run for stubborn glaze, or am I just holding the rods wrong?
