Had to choose between a standard brush and a poly brush for a tight flue in an old Annapolis row house.
The flue was only 8x8 inches, and my boss said to just force the standard one. I went with the poly brush anyway, and it flexed perfectly without scratching the historic liner. What would you have picked for a tight, old masonry flue?
