Spent about 300 yuan on a proper tea set after years of using a mug, and it completely changed how I taste pu'erh.

The small clay pot and cups somehow make the tea smoother and more complex, which I never expected from just changing the vessel.

wait i literally just read something about this. there was this article i saw about how the placebo effect still works even when people know they're taking a placebo. like they did a study on people with irritable bowel syndrome and gave them fake pills but told them straight up they were fake. and their symptoms still got better somehow. science is wild like that. your brain can literally trick your body into feeling better just because you think it should. so maybe your whole life thing works the same way. if you believe you're doing okay then eventually you actually might be.
