Switched from WeChat Pay to Alipay for my morning street food runs

After 6 months of fumbling with WeChat Pay at the noodle stall near my apartment in Shanghai, I tried Alipay and it scanned twice as fast every time. Anyone else notice one app just works better for small vendors on crowded streets?

Does it depend on the phone you're using though? Mine's always hit or miss.

Depends on the phone for sure... my old one was terrible no matter what I tried. What finally worked for me was turning off all background app refresh and closing everything before I tried to use it. Also clearing the cache helped a ton for some reason. Might be worth a shot if you haven't tried that already.
