Battery read 11.2 volts and wouldn't even crank, the charger brought it back overnight instead of me dropping $180 on a new one, so what are you all running on cars that sit longer than you planned?
instead of me dropping $180 on a new one" is the part I'd push back on. A battery that sat for 5 weeks and dropped to 11.2 volts is already hurt, these things lose capacity every time they go flat like that and you're just delaying the day it strands you in a parking lot. The charger got you cranking again but it didn't undo the damage, it just hid it. I'd put that $60 toward a new battery and save the charger for a battery that's actually still healthy.
