Just found out my utility's 'green' energy plan mostly uses regular grid power. Feels pretty misleading, to be honest.

Ugh, that's such a common trap these days.

Most green plans just pay for renewable energy credits to offset regular grid use. It's more about funding than direct supply.

Always check the fine print for where the money actually goes. Some plans just buy old credits, others fund new projects. Makes a big difference in the long run.
