Our community garden now collects rainwater in big barrels.

It saves water and teaches kids about conservation easily.

GREAT, now the kids will think water comes from barrels instead of the sky. That's a solid lesson in magic, not science. Next they'll be saving sunlight in jars for night time. Really though, it's a smart move, but good luck explaining droughts when the barrels are empty. Bet the plants PREFER it over tap water anyway.

Exactly! Next they'll be bottling moonlight for nightlights.

Honestly, bottling moonlight is the next logical step... and honestly, I'd buy it. The whole thing is getting silly. It's just rain barrels, not magic. But the way people talk about it, you'd think we invented something new. Feels like we're making simple stuff way too complicated.
