Shoutout to the local solar farm that showed me what real climate action looks like

I drove past the new solar farm out on Highway 9 last weekend. It's about 40 acres of panels, and I'll admit I was skeptical at first about big projects like that. But then I talked to a guy who lives next to it. He said his electric bill dropped by 60 bucks a month because the farm shares power with the neighborhood at a discount. That's real action you can measure, no carbon offsets or fancy promises. Has anyone else seen something like this near where they live?

Read a study saying these shared solar projects cut emissions more than rooftop panels.

Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense when you think about how much space and cost those little rooftop setups take.
