Swapped my lawn for native wildflowers in March, the water bill dropped $42 this month

I ripped out about 300 square feet of grass in Tulsa and planted prairie seed mix instead, and the bees are everywhere but I didn't expect the biggest win to be my sprinkler almost never running, has anyone else seen utility savings this fast from a similar swap?

Honestly, this is just how it goes once you stop fighting your own dirt. So much of our utility bills are just paying to keep plants alive that don't belong there in the first place.
