Tried those cheap reusable grocery bags vs. paying for paper bags at checkout

I was using the flimsy 50-cent bags from the grocery store that ripped after 3 trips, so I finally bought a set of 6 heavy-duty ones for $15 at the Target on Elm Street. Has anyone else noticed how much longer those thicker bags last before they start fraying at the seams?

Whoa, you actually paid for paper bags? I just assumed everyone grabbed the free plastic ones or brought their own. Fifteen bucks for six bags sounds steep but if they're not falling apart after a month, that's probably a win in the long run.
