Why do people keep throwing 'compostable' coffee pods in the recycling bin?
I volunteer at our town's waste sorting station every other Saturday, and last week I pulled 37 'compostable' coffee pods out of the blue bin in one hour. They have to go in the green bin for food waste, not with the plastic and cans. The recycling truck just leaves them behind as contamination. Has your local program had this issue, and how do you get the word out?
