Back in '05 I had to write my own G-code for a simple pocket, now I just click a button in Fusion 360 and it's done in seconds.

I miss the control but not the three hours it took to get it right, so what's one old-school skill you're secretly glad to have lost to the software?

Manual drafting blueprints was such a tedious grind, good riddance.

My uncle was an architect in the 80s and his stories about ink smudges and eraser dust are wild. What was the single most annoying part for you, like waiting for ink to dry or recalculating everything by hand?
