Compared flood coolant vs mister on my CNC lathe last month

I run a small job shop in Phoenix and finally swapped my flood coolant system for a mister setup on my Haas TL-1. After 3 weeks of testing, the mister cut my cleanup time by about 45 minutes per shift because there's no puddles everywhere. Plus my inserts lasted longer since the mist actually hits the cutting edge instead of just drowning the part. Has anyone else tried switching coolant methods and noticed a big difference in tool wear?

Is a little bit of puddle cleanup really that deep though... sounds like you're overthinking it for only 45 minutes a shift.

Hear me out though - that 45 minutes adds up over a week and if you're skipping it the job aint done right. Respectfully, taking the time to finish properly is just good work ethic.
