Oh man, that reminds me of when I finally got a good pair of calipers. It felt like I'd been guessing my whole life and suddenly had real information. Some tools are just worth the cash.

Calipers are nice but come on, it's not life changing. People measured stuff fine for years without them. Seems like overkill for most garage projects.

Are you really gonna tell me a digital edge finder changed your life? I mean, it finds an edge. That's it. My buddy has one and he still messes up his setups half the time. Seems like a lot of money for something that just beeps at you.
