PSA: Check your coolant mix before the cold snaps, not after
Two winters back I ran straight water in my Haas TM-1 for about 3 weeks because I kept putting off grabbing a jug of concentrate, and one Monday morning in January the lines were slushy and I ate a pump. Cost me $610 for the new pump and two days of sitting on my hands while the customer's parts got late. Now I keep a spare jug under the bench, but what's your cold weather setup, do you run a refractometer or just eyeball it?

Guess my eyeball method explains why my refractometer is still sitting in the box two years later.
