Ran a part with G41 vs doing the math manually which one is faster?

Last night I had a tight tolerance aluminum job and I had to pick between using cutter comp or just adjusting the toolpath by hand in CAM. I went with cutter comp because it seemed easier but then I spent 20 minutes chasing a bad wear offset. Do you guys trust G41 more or do you prefer calculating offsets ahead of time?

Man, chasing bad wear offsets is the worst, feel your pain on that one.
