A guy at a Cleveland code meetup told me to stop watching tutorials and just build something broken, and he was right
I spent 3 months stuck in tutorial hell until he watched me freeze on a simple to do list, so I built a half working one in 2 hours and learned more about loops than a whole Udemy course, has anyone else had a stranger call out their bad habit like that?
Tbh learning by doing applies to way more than code, like how you never really learn to cook until you burn a few meals. Some random guy calling out your habit is basically free coaching.
