Hit 100 GitHub contributions in a single month - never thought I'd see that

I started learning Python in January and just crossed 100 commits on my little project tracker app last month. I was honestly just messing around with making a to-do list that saves to a file, and somehow it turned into 4 different mini projects. Did anyone else hit a random number that made you realize you were actually making progress?

Congrats on accidentally becoming productive, that's the BEST kind of productivity when you're not even trying.

yo I feel this so much. I had the same thing happen when I was learning JavaScript last year, I just kept adding features to a little weather app and before I knew it I had like 50 something commits in a week and I was like wait this is actually a real project now. It's wild how those random numbers sneak up on you when you're just messing around and having fun with code. Like you're not even trying to be productive, you're just curious and stuff piles up. That's honestly the best way to learn in my opinion, just chasing little ideas until you realize you've built something that actually works. Congrats on the 100, that's legit progress and you should feel good about it.
