Question about nested loops, I spent 3 hours stuck on one and want to save you the pain
I was doing the free Codecademy JavaScript course on Tuesday night and hit the section on nested loops, and I figured I could just skim it since I got regular loops fine. Big mistake. I burned almost 3 hours trying to print a simple triangle pattern because I kept mixing up which variable went in the inner loop, and my console just spat out garbage like 10 rows of the same number. What finally clicked for me was writing the inner loop counter on a sticky note and tracing it by hand on paper for each pass instead of guessing in my head. If you're new like me, do the paper trace thing from day one, it sounds dumb but it works. Did anyone else get wrecked by nested loops early on, or is it just me?
