Shoutout to freeCodeCamp over that $40 Udemy course, I actually finished it
I bought a $40 Python course on Udemy back in January and quit at lesson 12 because the videos were 40 minutes of a guy typing in silence. Then a friend in Austin told me to try freeCodeCamp instead, and the difference was that every lesson made me type code in the browser before moving on. I finished the whole JavaScript section in 6 weeks, which never happens for me, so if you are stuck bouncing between paid courses, try the free stuff that makes you build something first.
