Still manually naming files after 3 years of coding... anyone?
Honestly, I used to name my Python files like 'project_final_v3_actuallyfinal.py' for everything. It worked fine until last month when I was searching through 40 versions for a hours-old fix. I finally sat down in a coffee shop near Union Square and learned to use Git with proper commit messages. Has anyone else wasted way too much time on file names before switching to version control?

So you finally saw the light after how many years of playing file name roulette?
