Cold brew vs pour over, I picked wrong for a whole month
Last month I decided to finally figure out which method I really liked for my morning coffee. I bought both a cheap pour over cone and a cold brew pitcher, thinking I could just alternate. Turns out cold brew needs 12 to 18 hours of waiting, so I kept forgetting to start it the night before. Three mornings in a row I grabbed the pour over out of frustration, and it was bitter and weak because I never measured my grounds right. After 4 weeks of this mess, I stuck with pour over and got a scale for 14 dollars, which fixed the taste completely. Has anyone else wasted a whole month flip flopping between methods before just committing to one? What made you finally choose?
