Just spent 4 hours trying to fix a stubborn espresso machine drip
I've been making coffee at home for years but last weekend my old Gaggia started dripping from the steam wand nonstop. I watched like 5 YouTube videos, took the whole thing apart, and replaced an O-ring twice. Turns out it was just a tiny piece of mineral scale stuck in the valve that I could have flushed out in 5 minutes. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon on something that simple?

Ugh, I feel this in my soul lol. Spent a whole Saturday once trying to fix a leaky drip from my old Breville, took the whole group head apart, replaced three seals, and it was just a tiny piece of coffee grime blocking the water path. That moment when you realize the fix was basically free and took 30 seconds is the worst. I was so mad I had to walk away from the machine for a whole day. At least you figured it out though, that's the main thing.
