That barista at Blue Bottle in Austin changed my mind about pour-overs

I used to think pour-overs were just pretentious drip coffee until she handed me a cup and said 'taste the berry notes on the finish.' Now I own a gooseneck kettle and spend 20 minutes every morning on one cup. Anybody else get converted by a single sip?

Oh man, same thing happened to me at a little shop in Phoenix, now I'm obsessed with perfecting my pour-over game!

Oh man, YES! I had almost the exact same thing happen at this tiny cafe in Portland a few years back. The barista showed me a quick trick with water temp and I went down the rabbit hole so hard lol. Now I've got like three different drippers and I'm always tweaking the grind size on my beans. It's kind of ridiculous but I genuinely look forward to my morning coffee ritual every single day now.
