Comparing Milo Yiannopoulos and Charles Murray talks back in 2017 was eye opening
At UC Berkeley the Milo event got canceled due to riots while Charles Murray at Middlebury got protested but went ahead with a different room. The difference was one school actually found a way to hold the event safely and the other just gave up. Do you think schools that cancel speakers are just avoiding the work of managing protests?

Wait, they had to move Charles Murray to a different room at Middlebury? I remember hearing there were protests but I didn't realize they still found a way to do it. That feels like a lot more effort than just saying "well, this is too hard, let's cancel.

Didnt someone get hurt during that protest? I read a piece where a professor got tackled or something while trying to get into the building. It just seems like a huge mess all around. Moving rooms to avoid a crowd is one thing but having people physically blocked from going inside is a whole different level of crazy.
