Question about the number of times a speaker got disinvited from a campus
I was reading an article from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression last night and saw that a certain professor got disinvited from speaking at 12 different colleges over the past five years. I always figured these were one-off events, but seeing that stat made me realize how often it actually happens. Does anyone know if that's a typical number for a controversial speaker?

Twelve times in five years is a lot of packing and unpacking. I got disinvited from my own cousin's wedding for arguing about the music, so I can't even imagine that kind of track record. Makes you wonder what he's saying that gets the door shut before he even arrives. I'd probably trip over my own feet that many times just trying to get to the podium.

Forget what he's saying, I'm stuck on the logistics. Like, does he have a go bag ready by the door at this point? My guess is it's less about big blow ups and more about him being the guy who always needs to correct the timeline or complain about the hotel wifi. That slow drip of annoyance gets you cut way faster than one big fight.
