Saw a sign at Ohio State saying a speaker was moved to a 200 seat room, and the old hall holds 900
The event got moved to a smaller room after backlash, and I keep wondering if that is just crowd control or a quiet way to kill the whole thing, so did anyone else see this happen on their campus?
Watched something like that at a school near me, they moved a talk to a tiny room and called it a "scheduling thing." The room was full 20 minutes before it started, so most people got turned away. Felt less like crowd control and more like a soft cancel.
