Was skeptical about inviting a conservative speaker to my campus, then I saw the Q&A

My student group invited Ben Shapiro to speak at our school last fall, and I was sure it would just be a circus of protests and wasted time. But after the event, a dozen students from different backgrounds lined up to ask genuine questions about free speech on campus. The conversation after was actually respectful and made me realize these events can work. Have any of you changed your mind after seeing a controversial speaker in person?

Don't really buy that a few polite questions prove anything about free speech.

I mean, idk, it's just a few questions, right? Feels like people are making this way bigger than it actually is.
