Guy at the Cincinnati con told me I was reading Grant Morrison "too fast" and it still bugs me
I was at the Cincinnati Comic Expo back in March, flipping through a beat up copy of Doom Patrol at a vendor table, and this guy next to me (probably in his 50s, wearing a faded Flash shirt) leaned over and said I was "burning through it" and would miss everything. He explained that he reads each issue twice, once for the story and once just for the panel layouts, and he swore it made Morrison click for him after 20 years of feeling lost. Do you actually reread issues like that, or is he just doing the most to make himself feel smart?
