Hit 300 issues in my pull list last month and I finally cut it down
I counted every single issue on my pull list at the shop in Portland and it came out to 312, which was way more than I thought. What changed my mind was realizing I was only really excited for maybe 15 of them, so I dropped everything else in one trip. My wallet feels better but I still grab the new Saga and a couple others. Did anyone else do a big purge like this, and how did you decide what to keep?
Laughed at the "way more than I thought" part because I did the same thing last year, swore I had like 80 books and the shop guy printed my list and it was 190. I ended up keeping stuff where I actually remembered what happened in the last issue, which cut it to about 30, plus Saga and anything by Brubaker. Honestly the test was simple: if I couldn't tell you the plot of the previous issue without looking it up, it got dropped. Saved me around 60 bucks a month and I don't miss a single one of them.
