Hot take: I used to think comic fans at conventions were all the same
Last month at Denver Comic Con, I saw a dad in a full Green Lantern suit patiently explaining the emotional spectrum to his toddler dressed as a tiny Star Sapphire. That one moment showed me how diverse and welcoming this hobby really is. Anyone have a favorite 'wholesome con moment' they've seen?

That dad and kid duo at Denver sounds like the best thing ever.

Totally the best part of those events.

Best thing ever" is right. I saw a kid teaching his own dad how to play a card game, and it made my own sad attempts to explain rules look pretty bad. It's cool how these events turn everyone into a student sometimes.
