I finally regret that $200 indie comic kickstarter I backed last year

I put down $200 on a Kickstarter for a comic called 'Starlight Requiem' because the art looked amazing and the creator promised monthly updates. After 14 months I got a single issue and a bunch of empty updates saying they hit a 'creative block.' Has anyone else here gotten burned by a big comic crowdfunding campaign and actually gotten their money back?

Dude I really don't think $200 is THAT big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. I mean yeah it sucks to lose money but it's not like you put your rent or your car payment into this thing. Kickstarter is basically just gambling at this point and everyone knows the rules when they hit that back button. You got a single issue which is more than some people get from these things honestly. I'd just write it off as a lesson learned and move on with your life instead of trying to chase refunds through crowdfunding. The platform doesn't guarantee anything they make that super clear in their terms.

$200 is a lot of money to some people though...
