Just found out how many comics Stan Lee actually wrote
I was watching a deep dive video on YouTube about the early Marvel days. The guy said Stan Lee's name is on thousands of comics, but he didn't write most of them alone. He said a big one, like Fantastic Four #1, was mostly plotted by Jack Kirby. Lee would then add the dialogue. I always thought he wrote every word. The video said by 1965, he was overseeing like 12 titles a month, just doing dialogue for many. Found it on a channel called 'Comic Tropes'. Makes you think about who really created what. How many other fans still think it was all Stan?

That "mostly plotted by Jack Kirby" part really changes the story.

Kirby's plotting credit on Fantastic Four 48 is huge. It explains the book's cosmic shift that year. That detail rewrites a lot of comic history.

Guess I need to update my old fanboy rants now! @the_max is right, that credit really does flip the script.
