My CGC slab cracked right before a convention sale

It happened yesterday when I dropped my graded copy of Amazing Spider-Man #300. A buyer offered me $400 less on the spot, so I had to scramble to find a new case. Anyone know a good place in Atlanta for a fast re-holdering?

That's just how people are now. They see a small problem and use it to take advantage. Happens with everything, not just comics.

Did the buyer really try to lowball you over a cracked slab? That's rough. I'd check if any of the bigger comic shops near the convention center do on-site grading. Sometimes they have a guy who can do it fast.

Wait, they offered you $400 less for a cracked case? Like the comic itself is still fine, right? That's insane. Slabs are just plastic, the book inside didn't magically lose value because the holder got a scratch. I swear some people at conventions act like they're buying museum pieces instead of comic books. You'd think they were inspecting a Fabergé egg the way they nickel and dime over packaging. Sorry you had to deal with that.
