Fought a printer at a dentist's office in Boise for 3 hours and I'm still mad about it
I mean, I've worked on some cursed machines over the years, but last Tuesday took the cake. A dental office in Boise called me in for a printer that kept eating their paper, and turns out someone had stuffed a plastic fork inside the tray as some kind of jam fix. I pulled it out, printed 40 pages of patient forms to test it, and billed them $180 for basically fishing out silverware. What's the weirdest thing you've ever found jammed inside a machine someone swore was broken?
A buddy of mine found a whole corn dog in a copier once, still frozen, because some genius thought it would cool the rollers down. Two hundred bucks to toss a snack, and the office manager still blamed him for the thing smelling like fair food for a week.
