Compressed air just pushes dust deeper into the fins and the cans freeze up halfway through a job, but the electric blower actually clears the whole heatsink in one shot so you're not flipping the tower around 4 times, has anyone else made the switch or am I late to this?
Made the jump about two years ago myself and it was a total game changer for my bench. Those cans always run out of pressure right when you get to the good part and then you're stuck shaking it like an idiot. My electric duster blasts a solid stream the whole time so the fins actually get cleared instead of just dusted on the surface. The amount of packed crud that came flying out the first time honestly grossed me out a little. You're not late at all, most people just don't know any better yet.
