Stumbled on an old disk imaging stat that blew my mind

I was cleaning out a drawer last week and found an old IDE drive from 2001. Got curious and looked up how much those things cost back then. Turns out a 40GB drive was like $250 easy back in the day. Now you can get a 2TB SSD for under a hundred bucks. Made me think about how many drive clones I've done over the years, probably thousands at this point. Has anyone else found an old part that made you stop and think about the prices we used to pay?

Man, I remember dropping $300 on a 80GB Maxtor drive back in like 2003 and thinking I was set for life. Now I clone drives on the regular and I'm like "wait, this 4TB external was only 80 bucks?" It's wild how fast the price dropped. Makes me feel old, like the guy who used to pay 50 cents for a Coke and now gripes about the vending machine. Your mileage may vary, but I swear I've probably cloned that same 40GB drive a hundred times just to move people off old hardware.

Ask @shanel13, are you still using that same cloning software from back then?
