Update: I dropped $150 on a "premium" thermal paste kit and it was the same stuff as the $8 tube

Bought the fancy kit with the spreader and cleaning wipes for a client's build, then checked the spec sheet and it's literally the same compound. What's your go-to paste for a basic re-paste job that doesn't cost more than the CPU?
