Hit 4000 sq ft finished by myself in one day and my arms are still mad
Never thought a power trowel and a good knee board setup would get me past 3000, but this pour in Fresno just ran perfect. What's your biggest solo day, and did you pay for it the next morning?
4000 in a day solo is wild, I used to call guys crazy for chasing numbers like that. Figured anything past 2500 meant sloppy work and a wrecked body, so I capped myself around there for years. Then last spring I ran a slab in Clovis with a ride on trowel and knee boards set up right, and it just kept going smooth past 3200 without me dying. Next morning my shoulders were toast and I walked like a 90 year old, but the finish was clean and the check cleared. Idk, maybe it's just me but I stopped treating a big solo day like a bragging thing and started treating it like a setup thing. You pay for it either way, just depends if the pour was worth it.
