Hit 500 yards of broom finish on a single job last month

It was for a massive warehouse apron in Tacoma, and my arms felt like jelly for two days after. How do you guys handle that kind of scale without burning out your crew?

500 yards of broom finish is a whole new level of crazy.

Reminds me how we've all just accepted insane amounts of repetitive work as normal now. We're constantly asked to do huge, boring tasks that don't really need to be that big. It makes a simple broom finish sound like a vacation.

Yeah, nothing says "fulfilling career" like spending a whole day pushing a broom across the same slab of concrete... it's basically a meditation retreat except you get paid in back pain. At least with a broom finish, you get to see your progress, unlike those endless data entry jobs where you're just moving numbers around in a spreadsheet that nobody will ever look at again. Honestly, I'd take the broom over another 8 hours of clicking "approve" on forms that could have been automated ten years ago.
