I think power trowel blades get dull way faster than most guys admit

Been using the same set of Kwik-Tork blades for 6 builds now and they still cut clean, but I see dudes swapping blades after 2 jobs and claiming its normal. Has anyone else noticed blade life dropping off compared to 5 years ago, or is it just the concrete getting harder?

Stop overthinking it, they're just wearing down faster cause you're using em harder.

oh man @patricia_wells you're totally right but watch me keep overthinking it anyway lol. it's like my phone battery dying faster and me being like "is it the app updates or the charging habits or did i break it somehow" when really i just need to stop doomscrolling at 2am. same logic applies here i guess. but hey at least if they wear out now you get an excuse to buy new ones and pretend it was "planned obsolescence" not your heavy thumb. either way your wallet's gonna feel it so might as well just enjoy whatever you're doing till they give out.
