Knee pads seemed silly until I saw a buddy eat concrete in front of a new client.

Watching him flail into the wet slab was so awkward that I now never work without pads.

Skateboard taught me the same lesson. Tried a curb grind, ripped my palms to shreds. @jamiebailey that jeans story is making me cringe all over again.

Ever wonder how much worse those scrapes would be if we didn't have that instant adrenaline to numb it?
