Vent: customer told me my broom finish was too rough and made me redo it
Had a homeowner in Orlando last month say my broom lines were catching her dog's paws. I dropped down to a medium-bristle broom and started pulling the finish in one direction instead of back-and-forth. Any of you guys run into picky clients asking for smoother texture?

Oh man I feel your pain! I had a lady in Tampa last year who made me redo a 150 foot driveway because she said the broom finish looked like "scratched glass". I switched to a soft bristle push broom and did long slow pulls end to end, came out way better. Some people just have that vision in their head and wont budge until they see it.

Scratched glass" sounds more like a concrete issue than a broom finish problem.
