Found a stat that blew my mind about JFK

Was reading through declassified FBI files last night. 90% of the witnesses to the assassination died unnatural deaths within 3 years. That can't be coincidence. Anyone else dig into those Warren Commission footnotes?

Oh wait, that 90% number is actually way off. The original stat came from a flawed 1960s analysis that counted anyone who even sneezed near the case as a "witness", and most of those deaths were from totally normal causes.

Have you fact-checked that number yourself? I actually looked into these claims years ago and found the same thing abbyc33 mentioned - the original data had some serious issues with how they defined witnesses and deaths.
