I used to believe the moon landing was fake until I saw the Apollo 11 command module in Seattle

I was at the Museum of Flight in Seattle last month and stood right next to the actual Columbia capsule. Seeing the scorched heat shield and the cramped space... it felt too real to be a movie prop. The sheer size and weight of the thing, over 12,000 pounds, made me realize the scale of the effort. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where seeing something physical changed their mind on a big theory?

My uncle's old geology textbook had moon dust glued to a page.

That moon dust in the book is a common mix-up. They sold vials of "lunar dust" as a novelty, but it was just dust from a lab vacuum cleaner or ground-up meteorites. Real moon dust is locked up for study, and it's super fine, like powder.
