My mom's school conspiracy rants have me shrugging.

She acts like every textbook update is a secret plot. I think it's just normal changes over time.

Have you seen how even basic news reports get spun into wild theories? @willow_ellis9, you hit on something real there. People will take a simple mistake, like a missed comma, and build a whole story about it being a sign. It feels like we're losing the ability to just let things BE normal.

Yeah, that bit about "losing the ability to just let things BE normal" is it. My dad gets that way about weather reports, convinced they're hiding a cold front behind the barometric pressure.
