My phone's weather app promised 0% rain in Dayton last Tuesday, so I skipped the tarp and got soaked
Last Tuesday I checked three weather apps before laying a coat of primer on a fence job in Dayton, and all of them showed 0% rain. I left the tarp in the truck, went to lunch, and came back to a downpour that raised the grain and ruined about 40 feet of work. The weird part is my neighbor's app on the same network showed a 60% chance an hour earlier, and I still can't figure out why. Is there some kind of cell tower or data feed thing that makes apps disagree, or am I just unlucky? Would love to hear if anyone else has caught an app lying about rain.
