My uncle told me to ignore the moon landing hoax stuff back in high school
He was a pilot for 30 years and said the physics checks out, plain and simple. I argued with him for weeks, pointing to all those grainy photos and 'waving flag' videos I saw online. He just kept telling me to look at the actual mission reports, not the YouTube clips. So I finally did, for a class project six years ago. I spent three days at the college library reading technical journals from the 70s. The level of detail, the way every problem was documented, it was overwhelming. It wasn't some perfect cover-up; it was a messy, incredible human achievement. I had to admit he was right. Now when I see those hoax theories pop up, I just shake my head. Has anyone else had a family member completely change their mind on a big conspiracy for them?

My cousin's a mechanic and he swears the flat earth stuff is nonsense. He showed me how basic navigation works and it just clicked.

Yeah when you said "it just clicked" that's the key. Some people just need a real world example to see how silly the flat earth idea is. Your cousin using basic navigation is perfect because it's simple stuff that works every single day. If the earth was flat, none of that would function the way it does. It's wild that people ignore all the practical proof right in front of them.
