PSA: Dropped $300 on a 'quantum energy pendant' from a booth at a fair in Portland...

I was at this street fair last summer and some guy convinced me this pendant would balance my energy and help me sleep better. I was in a rough spot, not sleeping much, so I bought into it. Wore it for three weeks straight. Felt absolutely nothing different. When I tried to look up the company later, their website was gone. Total scam. Anyone else fall for one of those wellness gimmicks at a market or fair?

wait wait wait, I have to re-read that. $300 for a pendant with a buzzword name? lmao. that's not just a scam, that's a straight up robbery. I've seen people selling "quantum" stuff before, but this is next level. imagine walking around with a shiny rock on your neck thinking it's balancing your energy fields or whatever. you could buy a decent pair of sneakers or a nice dinner for that price. it's wild how people fall for this stuff just because it sounds scientific.

Wait, are you serious? I used to totally make fun of people who bought into that stuff, thought it was just for gullible tourists. But then my buddy got one of those "quantum energy" bracelets at a Ren Faire and swore it fixed his back pain, so I tried his on for a week and honestly my posture felt better. Now I'm rethinking everything.
